a sad day

In my first encounter with her, my friend and i went up to her and asked if she could share with us some of her works. But we went up to her too late though, so she told us we could go to her blog to check it out instead.. and i somehow got the impression that she was rather cold.

7 months later, i got to meet her again. This time, I got to know her over a period of a few days and she wasnt like how i imagined. She was caring and sisterly.. :O. As she told us about her future plans, it felt like such a happy thing. Most of all, i remember the conversation i had with her about how she got into design and I was really touched by her genuine desire to create and craft.

I was embarrassed to tell anyone but during my trip to taiwan last march, the conversation with her about design and finding out that she was such a nice person, was one of the little happy things that happened.

To me, she was an inspiration, but to many that I know, she was a really dear friend :(. I really hope everyone around her will have the strength to get through this.

Dusty comes home!

Lets give it up for Dustyyyy! my very first pet!! :)

i finally got my longterm-loaned guitar from joel yest, and named it against his owner's will hehe. after one shite day of thinking abt work, it was fun to randomly strum the guitar (and sing along!), even though.. my knowledge is as low as it can get! snigs.

PS. if u ever want to call dusty by his pet name, he can also be referred to as Frustration. what a cool dude!

a jumble of sentences

im embarrassed to say i didnt spend the last few days slogging away at all :(
but im glad i managed to spend time with some friends that i wouldve loved/shouldve talked and hung out with more (eversince thesis started in october).. so it was indeed a rather pleasant past 3 days!

of cos though, its just some of them cos there are just too many pple that ive neglected :( but hey, i do feel like ive met up with at least one representative from each group hehe. i want to write abt it in detail for fun, but i think im going to take a nap.
